Jim qualified with Thorn Lighting over 35 years ago, and has spent his entire career in the Lighting Industry. From being UK National Lighting Director for an Electrical wholesaler, overseeing large scale businesses, to now running and coordinating Alpha Lighting. From designing bespoke lighting schemes to retrofitting Industrial facilities, Jim's experience and expertise can fine-tune your lighting requirements. He'd be more than happy the welcome you in his office to get to know your project requirements.

Andrew joined in 2008 with 25yrs+ history of sales and manufacturing. His bespoke fabrication experience can bring to life any large pendant, wall light or other fitting ideas. With a permanent position in the office, this makes him your first point of call for information and support, and with his extensive knowledge, he can put you on the right track for finding and solving your enquiry. He has worked on a fitting which required rewiring and modernising, that was destined for Buckingham Palace.

Frazer joined in 2020 and quickly took over the LED tape work, along with site visits and assisting both Jim and Andrew with designs and sales work. He's also the company go-to for technical advice and LED tape control issues. Having previously worked for ten years as a professional chef at some of the best restaurants in Manchester-hospitality and looking after clients is instinctive.
